SnorEx®

A Cutting-Edge Snoring Treatment, without the cutting

No Incisions. No Downtime. No Snoring.

SnorEx® is the brand-new snoring solution you've been seeking. Unlike traditional snoring surgery, this non-invasive snoring procedure effectively stops your snoring in just one office visit and offers real, lasting benefits.

Snoring typically results from air passing by or through "floppy" tissue in your airway. The revolutionary SnorEx® treatment stiffens the soft palate and raises the uvula so they no longer vibrate excessively when you breathe. And since there is no cutting—just an injection and a suture—you'll have minimal discomfort and no downtime.

Frequently Asked Questions

Difference Between SnorEx® and Snoreplasty?expand_more

The SnorEx® procedure is similar to Injection Snoreplasty which has been around for more than a decade. Both involve "Injecting a substance that stimulates collagen deposition and stiffens of the soft palate". However, SnorEx® offers a new angle to snoring treatment both in application of the injection and suture.

Difference Between SnorEx® and Pillar?expand_more

Previously, Dr. Marc Kayem provided the Pillar Procedure, which was safe and effective for many snoring patients. However, due to some manufacturing problems, the Pillar implants are no longer made today. Pillar relied on five implants that were inserted by an ENT doctor. They had a 5% chance of extrusion (coming out and needing to be pulled). SnorEx® does not use a permanent implant, but still provides a long lasting snoring benefit.

Difference between SnorEx® and a Uvulectomy?expand_more

Uvulectomy and uvuloplasty involve cutting a portion of the soft palate. The downsides of the treatment are a very painful and long recovery. These surgeries can still be done after SnorEx® if needed, but most patients with mild to severe snoring will see results.

Difference between SnorEx® and UPPP?expand_more

Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP) is a traditional snoring surgery that occurs in a hospital with general anesthesia. The tonsils are removed, and the soft palate is cut and then sutured together like an arch. Today, there are many alternatives in treatment of snoring to sinusitis where tonsils and adenoids no longer need removed. In addition to requiring more issues in scheduling the procedure at a hospital, there is a longer patient recovery for UPPP and a higher cost for patients.
